ClearSecure supports Manitoba’s new Storefront Success program
The Manitoba government, in partnership with the City of Winnipeg and Centre Venture, is launching a new grant program to support business growth in downtown Winnipeg according to provincial media release. (1)
Eligible applicants include small- and medium-sized retail businesses, restaurants, cafés, specialty retailers and select non-profit organizations operating within the designated program area. Priority consideration will be given to:
- Locally owned businesses;
- businesses introducing new or underserved goods and services downtown;
- businesses occupying previously vacant storefronts;
- businesses operating extended hours; and
- storefronts facing Graham Avenue or creating new street-facing activity.
Through the Storefront Success Program, eligible businesses may apply for funding for improvements including windows, entrances, and more.

Applications for the Storefront Success Program are now open and will be accepted until funding is fully allocated.
Application deadlines are:
- Sept. 30, 2026;
- Dec. 31, 2026; and
- March 31, 2027.
